Rules and Regulations for POOKy Youth Challenge Trophy
1. All youth participants must be current Youth POOKy members in good standing
2. The Youth or Parent/Guardian must fill out a nomination form at the beginning of or before the points will be counted.
3. The nomination form must be completed in full and returned with a copy of horses registration (if non-registered, please send a side photo) before points will count.
4. A points record form must be sent in within 30 days of the time the points were earned
5. Due to the gracious donation of the trophy by Lynn McPhearson. There is no nomination fee for the Youth Challenge Trophy.
6. Horse (s) shown/riddem must be owned by the Youth, an immediate family member or leased.
7. If there is a question of ownership, proof of ownership must be provided or the nomination and any points will be invalid
8. The horse can be of any breed or grade horse that the Youth rides/leases
9. Youth without horses can participate by earning points by volunteering at POOKy Events and Horse Shows. Enrollment and Point submission is still required.
10. Points can be earned thru Trail Rides/Recreational, POOKy Events (Breyerfest, Parade of Breeds, etc) Training Time and Showing

Trail/Recreational/Training/Volunteer- 1 point per hour
POOKy Events (Breyerfest, Parade of Breeds, Tack Sale) 20 points per day, minimum of 4 hours each day (with or without a horse)
11. Point tabulation for all approved KY sources will run annually,from January 1st to December 31st
12. Double Points will be given for those competing in POOKy sponsored shows or events
13. Ties will be broken by who attained the most number of wins during the point year
14. Youths are not allowed to exhibit stallions
